Appreciate the Little Things

Look, I ain't 100 percent perfect, but I'm pushing toward it I try to avoid conflict and stress cause I don't support em Mistakes are mistakes No matter I form em But I'm trying to learn from em I will not forfeit The hardest times call for better days There can't be rainbow without rain Scars prove that you lived even through the pain There's always sunshine after a hurricane Appreciate the little things in life They won't be there forever God is always by your side You can do it together They try to knock ya down you're still here You will not fall down yet Keep pushing through with no fear Believe and try your best It's feeling like that I live week by week Repetition everyday when I take my seat I might plummet to the ground when I'm at my peak But I still try and smile when I feel defeat The point is I'm no different than you I sit in class and ask "What do I do?" I'm 16 big dreams I dress clean that's true But sometimes I also wonder what's left to lose I might feel it sometimes but don't we all We wanna lean forward when we're bout to fall Trying to feel better Saying it's not our fault Think its over when progression at a halt This settles in a little But what we finally realize It ain't that bad when you put it in hindsight You need to cheer up when you really don't feel right Just know that you're still the same when you feel pint size Appreciate the little things in life They won't be there forever God is always by your side You can do it together They try to knock ya down you're still here You will not fall down yet Just keep pushing through with no fear Believe and try your best They can try and knock you down But you get back up and say "Who's laughing now?"
