Peace is Fine

As much as I respect the burden I feel the doom There's way too much that seems uncertain Except the tomb The sight of sunlight makes me want to fly But it's the thought of no more rain that keeps me dry For I am just a man An atom in the plan Some writing on the wall That stars don't understand. I am just a line In the book written by time A naked mortals mass Of thought and dust combined Who's decided that peace is fine. The consequence of being no one Is sense of self And the circumstance is you'll get nowhere Without the help It's a thing a man just can't deny Which you shouldn't waste your time to try and define Cause you are just a speck A card inside a deck The light outside the lamp The rain inside the wet. You are just the crow Crippled in the snow The rat that lays decaying An arrow in a bow That can decide if peace is fine Who's decided that peace is fine Who's decided the song is fine
