I don't want presents shoved in my face I don't want a fat man in my place You can keep your lights and tinsel, and tree I don't want you to get a thing for me I want to go out and see people smile See something nice I ain't seen in a while I want to go out and spread loads of cheer But everyone's rude and controlled by fear I want to lift the world with love and care But just can't muster the holiday flare I've hung up all my colored lights And yet some how they all look white I don't want presents shoved in my face I don't want a fat man in my place You can keep your lights and tinsel, and tree I don't want you to get a thing for me I don't want to hear about deals on phones I don't want to buy the brand new drone Virtual reality can't give me peace I don't want Christmas to be deceased I want to go out to different locations And see all the different decorations I want to lay down with you by the fire And give you what your heart desires I want to feel happy festive and free I don't want to feel this misery It feels like the angel on top of the tree Is sitting up there just laughing at me I don't want presents shoved in my face I don't want a fat man in my place You can keep your lights and tinsel, and tree I don't want you to get a thing for me I don't want to hear that this is okay I don't want to hear its gonna stay this way I just want to see some empathy I really want to feel some sympathy
