Look to find my motivation To outlast my despair A droll overbearing sensation I must bear Underwhelming obligation For me to leave my chair Seems much better... Lurking by my side She lets out a sigh Wallow in my own Inaction Goddess of sloth gazes on creation Her eyes found rest upon the filth Overflowed with dissatisfaction At good will Goddess of lethargy Release your hold on me Give me my breath back Before my ego cracks From the time I raise my head up To the time I stop my motions Lethargy she sleeps inside of me Silencing all the commotion Often times I wish she’d leave me And give me my fair share of Energy and motivation But I find myself in a lack Thereof Claw for the surface To find my own self trust And know I am enough To save my own life
