Bored to Death

I used to keep a diary I think I've lost it now Reveled in what thrilled me Enough to write it down Now the only thing of interest Is endless trepidation 'Cause everything is boring And nothing gives salvation I cancel plans last second All efforts have no meaning My sanity is threatened I'm only saved by dreaming I used to love reality My hobbies were so vibrant But that's now behind me Since all I hear is silence I miss the feeling of loving what I love It's what I dream of I reminisce the memories of having so much fun But I can't make new ones So I'll save my breath Ere I become bored to death I used to be so happy I think I've lost that now Living is so tiring I think I'll go lie down Not moving, eating, talking Only breathing in and out Can't answer to the knocking Don't want others around Was a people pleaser Now talking just feels empty Took one to many breathers Now loneliness is plenty Forgotten true contentment Fulfillment is all lost now I only feel resentment For the sea in which I'll drown I miss the feeling of loving what I love It's what I dream of I reminisce the memories of having so much fun But I can't make new ones So I'll save my breath Ere I become bored to death There is no rest I'm trying to fix the mess But things are going poor at best Like you guessed I've regressed into a place where I'm distressed I've tried every suggestion I've asked all the questions To regain expression For emotional progression But I've lost interest in life Nothing appeals me but the dive Everything has been deprived Of the joy they once provided If this what life is Empty and divided Then I'll just save my breath I'm gonna be bored to death
