Part of Me

Part of me is hiding in a closet in despair Trying to survive another day in fear Part of me can't be reached by anything but pain As I relive memories I no longer can contain Part of me is comatose, completely in shock Trying to cope with all the horrible things I forgot Part of me has anger I don't know to feel As I try to believe none of it was real I am hiding in my hole Aching for things that will fill my soul Why do I have to know myself This part of me doesn't want any help Part of me is thinking if I hold onto this Empty part of me I'll cease to exist Part of me is holding on and part of me is letting go And I don't know what to do, so I am I am hiding in my hole Aching for things that will fill my soul Why do I have to know myself This part of me doesn't want any help Part of me is thinking Part of me is drinking of the bitter cup And thinking, just suck it up Part of me is waiting Part of me is fading into my memories Waiting to cease, to cease to exist Part of me feels like this
