Bad Stuff

Our little eyes would see Those big bad people on TV And said that we'll never be mean We would ride our bikes all day And come up with funny things to say We didn't know what life had in store All we wanted to do was grow up We didn't think about all the bad stuff The only bad we knew Was maybe a real bad mood But other than that Life was good Now bikes turned into cars And soda turned into alcohol And now the way we fall Is in love There's now more pain to life Than just falling off a bike We didn't know what we were getting into None of us want to grow up Cause now we see all the bad stuff There's the pain of broken hearts And things just getting torn apart And bruises turning into broken dreams Now kids are getting lost in their emotions Sneaking out of their homes They be wishing their parents were closer So they didn't feel alone Now we are all grown up We don't want to keep the bad stuff Our hearts are broken in many ways And there's not more that I can even say Except we will be okay We will be okay Oh We will be okay
