What I say or think won't be applied to this fire Built from thoughts just down the road Will I ever learn to control these oceans As they fill me to the brim I saw it fleeting home All ambitions gone At the moment I've lost touch With myself It's leaving home Yes it should You're leaving home No, you should not The mess was cleaner before you arrived In time Perfect my ability to see the worst in you The dog bark is dry Like your sense of pride My faith in the world lost by a touch Neighbor, where does the line draw? Behind the fence line Tell it all Feed my depression For the world Or just repress it Think for all I'm just thinking for myself I know my Tell it all My viewpoint changes as time flies by Title it reflection to look back corrected This mess will be forgotten Our habits grow, they're not stagnant Don't drown in the mess Filter yourself through this mess
