Worth Saving Channing Krentz Kayley Hill Almost tossed my favorite pair of jeans Dime sized holes in the seams Grass stains on the knees The lucky kind you wear when you could use A little help shaking hands Stealing kisses or a glance But they've gotten me this far And patching aint that hard The first car I ever got to drive Duct tape on the headlight But it was cool in 1985 A hand me down two door time machine From my sister from my dad A couple bruises, lightly scratched It got me pretty far Its still sitting in the yard What's worth saving  Or throwing away When things need changing Do you call it a day Between holding on or letting go There's a fine line to know What's worth saving I started brewing coffee for one He's up early And i'm up after dawn Talk is short and laundry's piled high Along with the reasons I should or shouldn't try How'd we get this far Is this just who we are now
