The size, the shape, the color, the shell We are all the same, the stories we tell Some wise, some strong, some who can't go on Some change who they are, some now are called John We live, we struggle, we try to survive This world is a mess, our thighs are alive The talks, the fights, the freedom of speech Tap in the dark there's nothing to preach Everyday we speak up, everyday we grow They say we can't do it, they say we don't know But we know we are women so we'll put on a show We juggle with fire, we dance in the snow Our moms, their hands and their endless talks They have held you close and helped you to walk The lengths, the strengths, their worries inside Their feelings locked in, some they try to hide Some dance in the night, some are worried daughters We learn to forgive, when we swim in deep waters Cry in the dark and smile to belong We fear for our loves and hope to be wrong Everyday we speak up, everyday we grow They say we can't do it, they say we don't know But we know we are women so we'll put on a show We juggle with fire, we dance in the snow With labels and names we go by the book To think we can judge, someone by their looks No need to change, who we have become We're different we know and that makes us strong We're rebels, we're loud, excessive and proud Just tryin to fit in to this lonely crowd One day we will see, that there is no need To get on our knees, to take back the lead Everyday we speak up, everyday we grow They say we can't do it, they say we don't know But we know we are women so we'll put on a show We juggle with fire we dance in the snow We are women and we know Once we love, we learn to grow Until we know, that it's alright We're here to love and not to fight
