Just Me

I cry I get scared I tend to be afraid of people, places, things that are bigger than me I am at the end of the day just me I love To block out the world when it continues to make the least bit of sense I try my hardest to stay away from people who will hurt me All along I found out some of those people were my closest friends Were they really my friends Who is a friend I'm a friend Still I remain just me I tend to keep quiet And keep these unwanted words, feelings, thoughts inside But these words have to come out, in the end paper becomes my only friend But remember I will always still just be me
