Guardian Angel

She got a crooked little halo And a couple of broken wings But I love the way she dances Man, I love the way she swings When I ask her where'd she come from She just whispers "Don't you see?" Those big brown eyes I recognize them staring back at me When I I go Away She's right there with me Right by my side When I I go astray She's no stranger She's my guardian angel And she just smiles Sometimes she reveals herself Through the numbers on the clock Sometimes she's the key Sometimes she's the lock When I ask her if she's with me She says "Darlin' can't you see?" Those big brown eyes I recognize who's staring back at me I I'm not afraid She ain't ever gonna let me fall The promise that she made "Every prayer you say - I hear them all." When I I go Away She's right there with me Right by my side When I I go astray She's no stranger She's my guardian angel But she can't fly I'm not sure why
