What's next in my life I'm playing chess Should I move up one or sit back here rest I have a lot of problems but i'm missing the stress Can't guess where i'm going Don't know where i'm at What's next take a step I'm up on the board Never bored bouta dive in leaving the shore Some say bring 5 friends Some say more On this journey i'm alone I guess it makes a good story What's next take a picture with a smile good caption Wanna make a move but the move won't happen Always wanna shoot but I end up passing Seems good now but i'm steady relapsing Open minded feelings I can feel them collapsing Perhaps then I should just leave and come back in Back into the same game that I was last in Last entrance was a switch I thought I had it Something when your mind is drained Try to find a loophole like a bossed up game Last level just you against a bossed up gang You can't hang so you try to find an easier way That's how it is really when you put your pride aside And realize that you might need a place to confide You been complacent for a minute now the path too wide For you to slide by yourself so you open your eyes You've been asking for a sign Here it is No one said it's going to be easy It might not even work But you sink or you swim I'm wondering what's next Not sure what's right or left Take it day by day I try Still I never get it right
