One foot after the other Can you feel how drained you are? The view keeps repeating itself Walking down this endless beach Can’t seem to change Nerve-wracking Realizing That you're stuck between two selves Staring down where the ocean kisses my feet My reflections’ eyes looking deep into my soul Who is this? What have I done? Been walking for so long Couldn’t I see That there’s this emptiness In repetition? Feeling guilty For wandering so blindly Ignoring my desire For change Nerve-wracking Realizing That you're stuck between two selves The endless options That could lie behind this horizon Is what had called me The beauty of the unknown is That it withholds endless possibilities So I start searching I start transforming Flowing like water Changing me Oh, dissolving in my purest form Forming, until I found What holds my soul I built my boat, and set my sails Use every small wave So I slowly learn to surf Use its strength, move with life It comes and goes in waves With every up and down With every fall oh I will grow So, water fill the holes that lie inside me Open this new chapter where I Dance with the waves And sing to the melodies Of the ocean Oh I know I will never be done searching But isn’t this the purpose?
