Dear Lord, you see what I'm going through Even though it's my fault I put the blame on You I just never believed that it would come to this I wouldn't call this a life, I barely exist I'm tryna change my life, but something won't let me And thought I left You I act like you left me I've given up on myself, but You're not leaving You wont give up on me as long as I'm breathing It seems like I, I just can't to anything right and I'm to weak to put up a fight Though I'm aching in my bones I try to make it on my own and I end up all alone But You're close to anyone who need it the most so You're the only reason I rose Went from down and out and sighing, giving up trying, to feeling like I'm flying I let my foolish pride, get the best of me And that resulted in, this negativity I guess that all I wanted, was to demand more And so I went against everything I stand for Now here I am alone, cause of my stupid pride Hoping that I can make it, without You by my side Cause I was disappointed, I just could not see Through all the hard times, You kept your hands over me It seems like I, I just can't to anything right and I'm to weak to put up a fight Though I'm aching in my bones I try to make it on my own and I end up all alone But You're close to anyone who need it the most so You're the only reason I rose Went from down and out and sighing, giving up trying, to feeling like I'm flying There's only one thing that I don't understand Why I didn't reach out and try to grab Your hand I guess somebody fooled me saying; You don't care But all along You've been watching me and waiting there For me to take that step, so You could take Yours That's all I needed for You to change my life's course You gave me back my life for that I'm so grateful I'll spend rest of my days tryna repay You It seems like I, I just can't to anything right and I'm to weak to put up a fight Though I'm aching in my bones I try to make it on my own and I end up all alone But You're close to anyone who need it the most so You're the only reason I rose Went from down and out and sighing, giving up trying, to feeling like I'm flying Trying to make it alone, but I am to weak on my own I should take a look at myself, before I blame someone els Pride is the root of the pain, it wont allow me to change With You by my side I will rise, the anchor that keeps me alive
