Digital walls to an analog world Computed distraction from random horror Keeps the chaos of reality out And yourself And myself as well I bury my head in sand Always denying See no evil Hear no evil Turn a blind eye to a simple sight I deny And yet it grows It piles up higher Before me clear vision of freedom Settling within me Undeniable truth Of the nature of my being A fractured psyche opening its eyes Opening It's eyes Now mending the damage of years Of neglect Of guilt Now spread my broken wings, Soar It takes root Realization, of what is sublime It releases and frees me from the fixation in my soul That grew and took its toll Erased From My Hard drive I Rise up Blank and proud Letting go of all I know Eternal triumph Know Yourself to know this world Change yourself to change this world Heal yourself to heal this world The wounds I see in others are my own I cannot change what I have wrought But I can break the stone inside Devote myself to the approaching tide
