Ever been in pain and don't know why Said you ain't replying and you start to type Took a hit of weed and then you start to fly Falling in a dream but woke before you died These are all those feelings that we keep inside Never answer questions in full sometimes we duck an dive Hiding from the truth until we form a plan and strategize Waiting for them clouds to disperse so we see clearer skies I always sense the grey's that rain on parade's Have me acting out emotions like a game of charades Feelings cut deep slicing at my heart with a blade I fell to my knees i looked to the skies as i prayed I said lord why'd you pick me for I've fought a lot of battles up and down like see saw Shed blood sweat and tears and even punched up walls But these battles made me stronger from the mind to the core Social media is a dangerous place in this human race But hopefully we'll find our way by god's grace Cause there's girls trying to find pure happiness through a phone Stunting for the gram when in actual fact their all alone I've seen guys do it too just to help boost their ego No Peter Pan but they're the real lost people Stuck in matrix hoping likes will one day make them happy Filters on top of filters for whenever they feel snappy Mean comments just destroying their mental And no enough likes has them sitting suspenseful Shit what even should i post now And furthermore i should just really take the post down Damn what was life before the socials MSN hype and myspacing by-coastal Changing your top 8 until things looked great A welcome distraction to your real mind state
