Sometimes, this world is hard to comprehend People hurting people Over and over again Riots, bombs, bullets flying Over peoples heads, I'm scared For the World But optimistic at the same time For instance the people Who make the world shine But at the other, side, there is the swine Thieves, cowards, looters, and shooters Make me wanna cry sometimes It's disgusting, sickening, selfish Little gloats, giving no respect To nobody, they're just cowardly punks A large percentage of the generation With no education Just on permanent vacation On the parent train station I'll be patient, but my confidence is waning So much confusion In the clutches of illusion We fuss and fight yet we're stuck in this movement Dark forces attempt to start the wars Effecting the courses Four Horses trampling through the mud Remorseless, trying to torture We wither, in solitude Or exude a bad mood, not knowing what to do Confused like a cornered critter We slither away, look for food They want more for themselves And less for the few Freedom is attained and contained In the soul through gratitude They wanna constrain, and pretend To console your pain, your failings are accentuated But know that, you're devastated The tiny feeling emerges They capitalize and make you feel worthless You stumble through, wondering why You're cursed with, the burden And the curtain, pulled by the strings of dead eyes Fed lies by the higher ups, higher this And higher that, desire this, conspire at that Attain more and more what More what, more what, more crap You don't need that We're only being impeded by the greed By the few who wish You were working 24/7 and bleeding Break away, understand your worth And find the freeing, sense of wonder Asunder and heaven, sent to blunder We all make mistakes, but make it up And plunder, the beauty and truly find The lines and cross em, nature and oceans And fire in this life that we admire Light the fire of higher thought You should know that you got all the tools To battle all the fools who wanna plot Your demise, but nothing is stopping you Unstoppable drop a few gems of truth Gems of you I mean you are the diamond that's in the rough You just don't realize it They made you think that you Weren't worth enough They made you think you have to hide it Stand up and cry to the sky
