Though He Slay Me

I am facing the storm, it's hard to see, all the air around me seems so cloudy I have one source of peace; I find it in He, who assures me that He's always near So I won't give up, I'll never lose hope My faith will not fail, because I know He'll release me one day, from all of this pain And while I wait, I can hear the words of Job say Though he slay me, yet will I trust him Yet will I seek his face the more Every day this, battle seems harder I'll keep on fighting, I will endure Temptation is strong; at times I must flee, to a secret place where He shall hide me For under His wings, I forget everything, all the bondage in my life is broken So I won't give up, I'll never lose hope My faith will not fail, because I know My victory will come. My life is not done And I must hold on, until I see my change come Though he slay me, yet will I trust him Yet will I seek his face the more Every day this, battle seems harder I'll keep on fighting, I will endure For this trial that I'm facing is just temporary It's not designed to kill my faith It's God pulling me towards destiny Preparation for the me I'll become.
