I just lost a friend today and it filled me up with rage So I lit me up some sage, sat my ass down and I prayed There's gotta be an end to all the dying from addictions There's gotta be a way to talk to loved ones that I'm missing Elders always told me to go put out my tobacco So that is what I do when I pull over on a back road The first time that I did it left me feeling really baffled It was so rewarding, kinda like I won a raffle Put my faith in Creator, and I hope you do the same Let him take the wheel as we're cruising through the lanes Nothing can destroy us when we strengthen up our spirits Self-Levitation is the way, I hope you hear it I pray when I'm on my own Suddenly I don't feel alone I feel the spirits when they're in the zone I know they're nearest when I'm in my home I am gifted and I'm blessed I am gifted and I'm blessed I am gifted and I'm blessed I am gifted and I'm blessed When you open up your heart to the ways, it's so revealing Find your name, find your clan, and your colours so appealing This is how we handle all the problems that we're dealing with My identity has suffered too, and I'm healing it It's never too late to start crawling into the lodges Healing is a beautiful struggle and it's a process Gotta keep on going, let well-being be the profit Keep your focus on your goals, don't get caught up in the nonsense Everything is gonna be okay Negativity is DOA Everything is gonna be okay Negativity is DOA
