Tracing the lines, for a portrait I'll throw away Every leaf on the vine made of hope has long decayed Deep in this valley, huddled here in shadows of disdain Still you call out to me, but I tell myself that I can't reach In this night with no moon Brood of vipers in the palace Lift up there statures Know all the answers You've told me before Your depression is just sadness Get over your malice Drink from this chalice Demons be gone You will never understand this emptiness I feel And yes I am smiling, but it's just to conceal Doesn't anybody care, or are they pretending This pain is never-ending in this night with no moon
