Time has passed and I'm alone again Tired of this bed I'm sleeping in Have I been forsaken For what I find joy is all a sin Why do I even bother I'm making the same mistakes Saying that I'll try harder Still can't shake the pain Yet it seems so much farther Then it ever has before Like trying to breathe underwater Living nevermore Trying to keep my eyes on the light Watch as it falls out of sight Searching for a clue What am I to do To find and know the truth I'm crying out to you Through mercy and grace you have been saved From the netherworld escape This is why I bother Though I make the same mistakes Saying that I'll try harder Still can't shake the pain Yet I'm saved through the Father And the Son who He adores Though I've been struggling underwater lately Living nevermore
