My Own Demise

I started out a young boy Tryna cope with emotions My heart was too big Handled things with devotion Over the years You learn that things ain't what they seem Over some time You come to learn they ain't yo friend All I'm tryna say You live life You understand it When your heart is too big They break it up Till it diminish See I was lost for a minute But now I'm found I was broke up in the chest But now I'm grounded I'm content with the decisions that I make I'm alright with loosing friends cause they fake Cause I don't need nobody messing up my day I learned to love being alone anyway My own thoughts Will lead to my demise Everybody fighting wars in they mind I used to fear I'd be the victim of gun But now it's clear My biggest battle with myself It's crazy how the world Will turn you up against ya self It's crazy how this world Will make u hate being live It's crazy how you born in this world Just to die It's crazy how they lock so Many people in a cell Sometimes I can't tell If we on earth or we In hell I'm living for my family Man I'm living for my self I know this song is sad But that's how it really is Some living they dream While some barely get to live Land of the free Man this land where they kill Kill all of your dreams Make you feel like you ain't nothing Kill off all your hope And make you feel like you ain't nothing What's life without hope Man life ain't nothing Wonder why brothas won't hesitate to kill Cause they ain't got no other reason just to live When you killing all our dads And you killing all our kids And Mommas on ground Screaming up to the sky Hoping god can hear Please god Don't let my baby die My own thoughts Will lead to my demise Everybody fighting wars in they mind I used to fear I'd be the victim of gun But now it's clear My biggest battle wit myself I need to figure it out But for my health
