Demons dance within my troubled mind They torment and steal each breath of mine My mind is a prisoner consumed by their sway Lost in a dark labyrinth no comfort by day My body holds no sacred place My soul sinks in a bitter abyss of disgrace I would like to eat but I have no appetite Every bite is torment every bite destroys me If only the truth I could see If only I knew If only the truth I could see If only I knew Tell me, if am i in danger? I'm not perfect i don't society's rules Not the ideal admit without pride How to say what burns inside A wish I derive To walk like models Attract looksfar and wide Each day i fight to change To improve amend Society forces its Rules but defiance i send To hell with the rest Authentic be without fright An exam made me fail lost myself In that plight If only the truth I could see If only I knew If only the truth i could see If only I knew But who needs French, the labels that binds? The same soul am i opposing yet open of mind If only I knew
