How far Can it be? A spook hiding amongst the trees Let me be I love that twisted symmetry Something came and got me Came and went just like the wind That passes over with a whisper And the sound that greets the rain upon the water I look down on As she looks back at me Something came and grabbed me Something I couldn’t see Refused all the usual pleasantries Benevolence Maybe its arrogance Riding the chariots Eating asparagus Imperious Feeling delirious Getting too serious Feels like the feeling just ran away Just ran away Lightning struck again And paints my memory With the fear that all problems were emotions And the way I was before is just an echo Of feelings to come As it reached out for me I let the motion take me A leaf upon the stream A note in nature’s melody How far Can it be?
