I left things behind For a short amount of time It's nice to breathe different air for a little while I got pushed around by someone new It hurt at first but I've gotten used to Every place I go having the same view Will I think of you again when I come home? I had so many chances to let go Could've finally set myself free But I chose to be alone And god knows that my heart needed rest But the farther I go West The more I'm thinking of the East I left I thought I could catch a bus Go away for a few weeks, move onto the next thing But with each new face I meet I feel like I'm on my way to a place I'll never reach Will I think of you again when I come home?
