Moments of delight and good things come Like the wind in the leaves and then they're gone Pictures of the past soon turn to dust Happy things one day leave just empty hands As the seed of the new born flower's grown One thing is for sure innocence's gone Disillusions can bring fire in the heart And they can lead some beauty to empty paths There is always a sparkle flashing by In the eyes of the kid that once went blind The sparkle soon revolves like a sun Shining softly through the fog of his life As the kid looks forward he sees no end Like snowflakes our lives never fall the same Regrets come as lessons from the past Will happy things one day leave more than pain ? Moments of delight and good things change From summertime to winter and then again Regrets in turn will be turned to dust Happy things will survive from hand to hand
