Pillow Forts

Back in 2011 I never imagined we would grow up this fast I was more concerned with building pillow forts with my friend next door and all the blankets we used were held down by board games so we had none to keep us warm but we didn't care Every day I resist getting older, but the blankets have to come down sometime, and I'll move on with my life and become another worker bee We used to keep our candy in a brown plastic treasure chest, I don't know where it went Do you remember when you cast a bobber into the tree in your front yard? I know that someday it'll have to come down and it'll cease to exist out of my head I know I shouldn't care but Every day I resist getting older, but the blankets have to come down sometime, and I'll move on with my life and become another worker bee I know there's nothing I can do, but I can't help but feel confused does everyone feel this way? Like there's a rope tied between your shoes, and there's nothing you can do, but continue to eschew
