The wires and cables sparked amidst the air that circulated empathy The wings of the sparrow dispelled hope and peace within breath of the first beat Broken bodies, mending time Across the tower, between the shrine Rebuking every paradise Despair within the rushing tide Asymptomatic to this poetic disease Passion's fire, as tall as trees Patient zero dropped upon his knees An execution among the flames We cleansed our teeth in treason While the marrow filled our jaws And rejected the taste of reason as we severed through our tongues The endless stench of bitter fills the air we're forced to breathe And the lungs that guide us empty into echoes of deceit This never can be ended The scars beneath the skin Opening the wound of ego Just to stitch it to a sleeve In the stomach of the sea Spectral obituary Damned before we're freed Dying on our knees Hanging from the chapel stand graven images of peace We long for an early sleep To resist against what exists amidst Death of truth Ablaze in the bones of a long lost broken home Drowning myself in sorrow Freeing myself from this world Cover the face of loss Fingers into the eyes Vision decays Drenching the temple in rage as daggers protrude from the spine of disease and bring an end to suffering
