Sitting reminiscing of the times gone by Everything was fun and felt so right How was I to know that would be the last night Cos I miss you, Yeah I miss you I can still see your face, I can still hear your laugh I can still remember the parties that we threw in the gaff man Everybody liked you, the life and soul of he party if I was Hutch then, you would have been Starsky Partners in crime and we all partied hard Come Tuesday morning we were emotionally scarred But we were having fun and nobody could stop us Where there was Danger man, nobody could top us, I had to stop eventually, but you never did You never grew up, our Peter Pan, still a kid Always had a smile on your face that could light up a room Always had the headphones on listening to tunes And when everyone else was losing their cool You'd be chilling in the background quietly breaking the rules The thoughts goin through your head I would never assume I miss you so much man, you were taken too soon Sitting reminiscing of the times gone by Everything was fun and felt so right How was I to know that would be the last night Cos I miss you, Yeah I miss you I never realised you had a problem and then I tried to get help I told you to leave the bottle down as it was effecting your health I never knew how bad it was, then it was like ringing a bell I made you go to rehab cos you had to look after yourself But you fought me on that one, no you weren't best pleased But I was never against you, just helped you fight the disease You used to write me letters saying sorry for the way you were But I didn't want apologies, wanted you to know that I cared You went clean for a while and then back came your smile I looked forward to the day when we would reconcile But in your eyes was a pain you started to hide from the shame I prayed to God to wash the pain away but the rain never came Then you hid from the ones that cared, cos you probably knew That we would know by your eyes what you've fallen back to Heaven wanted you back early so off there you flew But if you can hear me now I hope you know we all loved you Sitting reminising of the times gone by Everything was fun and felt so right How was I to know that would be the last night Cos I miss you, Yeah I miss you
