What if the edge of space were a bubble And the Big Bang a split Like a single cell dividing Where rules weren't so strict What if planets were alive In a way we could never understand And every thing just a piece- A puzzle laid out in our hands What if every moment spent sleeping Was one spent in thought Watching life as a movie A passenger by default What if dreams were just memories Of a life somewhere else Channeling through you From beyond the big cell What if life wasn't complicated And love easy to find What if things never changed All of life, just a line Motionless, at peace, Nowhere to go, neither to hide Every thing part of one One that walks, but doesn't ride What if questions didn't exist And this poem, but a draft A long string of sentences Made up of only fact What if you knew change was coming Before it stopped by What if time flowed backwards And you remembered what but not why What if you always knew the answer And you never looked back Or the answer- never there And your actions just a plaque What if you knew of the moment You'd eventually die And you could talk to your past... Would you change your life?
