INTRODUCTION

It's something so obvious that we choose to ignore And as I record you could fall this a thesis of sorts Or more a course of action we could explore that I adore that's pretty floored In the past tense You see our thoughts shape our actions So no wonder dudes who wanna be gangster Get blasted as if that life was optional and it never was I often wonder if it was because Cuz wanted to be seen as authentic Or his foolish views are demented From a reality that's literally a figment, but I digress Rather than ponder that We should try to see why these guys aren't glad To be blessed by their predicament, but instead act ignorant For a moment of fame that's just as fleeting as our days here They should eye the other side asking Why would these people stay here But I guess pride can hinder the decisions and visions of some So to some it up, we're different Different shades different ways of thinking Different ways to be beautiful different ways to avoid the cubicle lifestyle I don't see how people can be all hype now Rather than be the ultimate sense for the crowd of youth that we have now That's doomed to disaster, if we don't act now As children it was critical we ask questions But now it appears it's more pivotal to ignore blessings And vent profusely with no mention of the truth Rather than our differences separate it should bring us To a state of togetherness For the betterment of all But I just be saying shit, Jolley
