Serpents

I have died a thousand deaths and counting I have lived one thousand lives and threw them all away I have lied through my teeth just to survive I have lost any semblance of faith or pride No longer will I bow to serpents No longer will I succumb to snakes No longer will I bow to serpents No longer will I succumb to snakes I'm so sick of screaming and shouting I'm so sick of no one listening No more wishing and waiting No more hoping and praying These words will fall on deaf ears I'll scream and no one will hear I'm so sick of screaming and shouting I'm so sick of my throat bleeding No more wishing and waiting No more hoping and praying to no one
