In The Morning

I've been up since five in the morning I'm most productive when I'm lost and tired And I'm sick of always being reminded that he's not He's not by my side Fell in love once, once in a lifetime And I know I messed it up and I can't take it back Every moment still played in my head My advice is don't fall in love young Every sunrise every sunset One day closer to feeling okay again I just need a lot of closure Can't contain any composure I know the intention wasn't to hurt me The scars will fade eventually So in the morning I'll be doing everything that I wanted Everything in life is temporary Learnt to try and see things as not scary If I want something then watch me get it We shouldn't have baggage this young Waiting for my coffee takes my mind off things But when it's time to drink it I start sweating heavy Wondering how long it'll take to stop me I need to stop spiralling A few months ago I lost my bestfriend I hope they're doing well because I love them so I hope they're happy and I want to let them know Sorry it ended that way Every sunrise every sunset One day closer to feeling okay again I just need a lot closure Can't contain any composure I know the intention was not to hurt me The scars will fade eventually So in the morning I'll be doing everything that I wanted Everything in life is temporary Learnt to try and see things as not scary If I want something then watch me get it I think I might've fallen in love Fallen in love with my life
