Sailing To Jamaica

Today I could not ignore The things that I see Bricks amongst the earth It takes my breath away Years pass and days They melt away The wheel turns again You're on your own my friend Here Lying in a daze I make up my mind To change my evil ways Look out into the sky With intent to realize Just why the sky is blue Why the sun still shines Upon your eyes And just what you ought to do Yeah Well my mind is on the brink Of something that I knew But its hard to remember the things That we used to know So here I am A ship tied to shore Dreaming of Beaches far from the moor Ill make my getaway And wander oceans every day Oh how id love to sail Away Take me to Canada Take me to Spain Take me to Mexico Out in the rain Take me to Jamaica To rid me of pain Yes sir my ship It will sail And ill watch the waves Ripple softly In the air With light in my eyes And the wind in my hair Ill have known you As my own Flowing like air Now The sun will guide my way Off of this land Through Scarlett clouds of rain And it may take all you have To reach your far away lands The places of your dreams As real as they seem I Closed an open door Hoping to Float away for sure Searching for things unknown No longer tied to any moor I travel as I please My mind will rest at ease Cause my brain can hardly think Eyes crying out Its so hard to move on From things that we knew and loved And here we are Ships tied to shore Dreaming of Seas we've seen before On our own Sailing off to lands Never known By the touch of man Searching for A place we'd love to know A beautiful place A land where love can grow Eyes aglow an aquamarine hue, kingdoms, castles of light come into view. Blinding all else but you to the sights and pleasures of many a lifetimes view. Women walk in the sun with silk sachets of sage and lavender by their side, while the children play in the park gardens, singing songs of laughter. Incense, music, and perfume fill streets of multicolored lights, and golden dust. Trains of joy pass by my eyes in shades of red and prussian blue. Time is but an afterthought in the mind once out of view.
