Purpose

Sometimes I sit and wonder what my purpose is on Gods green earth Is it to triple my worth Or live poor in the dirt Cuz we all got a path And if life's a bitch then I'm tryna make her squirt I'm talking death to birth I want all that its worth every last single perk I want it because I deserve Nothing handed out If I've got it then I've earned And never trust no one man that's something that I've learned I'm chasing a life that many call a dream And at the end of the day we want the same thing Some want the fame but we all want the cream About 2 chains and a big pinky ring A real nice crib it don't have to be extreme Take care of my family and look out for my team But keep an eye open for the ones that scheme Cuz they'll be the ones to ruin the whole thing But sometimes this shit gets hard And people wanna hate cuz they ain't super stars but I'm not either I'm still working hard everyday on the sneaker That's word to the refer I don't smoke but sometimes I wish I was a Chiefer Cuz I be feeling stressed And sometimes depressed And even though I'm blessed I wanna blow it out my chest So I can look up in the sky and fly away like a jet Fighting these demons looking for like life's meaning When will I wake up forever I been dreaming About a better life For my kids and my wife For my son stay away from the gun or the knife Unless a man try to harm your fam take his life Keep your head in the school books honor roll first And show these coaches balling ain't all that your worth And always make me proud from your birth to the dirt And to my daughter baby please keep your innocence Please never degrade yourself just to pay your rent This the type of stuff that comes to mind when I vent Something that'll make you think I call it lyrical content And as I bring this show to a close I just wanna thank God for everything I own My health my family a few friends that I like And for that one special lady in my life
