On arid barren lands Where beasts once roamed And trees were lush and thrived The rivers now ran dry In empty toxic seas Where life began its bloom And creatures used to hide Now boiling hot, acidified The black polluted air Once kingdom of the winged And sustenance of life Now poisoned and deprived No live left on the ground No live left in the sky No live left down below No living thing to find A thousand years passed by Their monuments collapsed A thousand years passed by Their dominion has elapsed A thousand years passed by And no living thing to find As he lays down in eternal slumber The last one of its kind The last one of its kind In ignorance they reigned Blind on both their eyes Obsessed with endless growth In denial they all died So after Decades of decay At last Their epoch Erodes away Nothing changed Until it was Too late
