Across the globe hatreds stir the beast withinAnother war for holy causes seems a sinLetting loose hate your book says to abhorI don't think your god approves of holy warAll these religions they say don't killBut they've shed more blood and made more victimsIn a world led by god's bigoted foolsAn endless stream of martyrs charging to their doomSo in seven days god created all thingsAnd on the eighth man was killing in his nameTell the god what did you have in mindWhen you let man turn against his own kindHoly man or holy terror who can chooseSaving souls by killing what a sad misuseThe prophet's words are written now in blood redAnd all his flock are killing until they are deadAny injustice they have suffered is erasedBy the blood of hapless victims they have shedLed by those intent on hatred war and sinJustified by twisting holy words intent.
