Waiting For Faith

This is dedicated to my Soul Church family Thank you for welcoming me to faith with truly open arms Luke & Lisa, John & Chantelle, Steve & Rachel, Matt, Gareth, Adi, Alan, Katie, Vuyi, James and the rest You guys have allowed me to find my feet and finally find faith I feel you, you hear me? You're lifting me up I see the scripture on the pages and I listen to stuff I see the miracles you make and continue to trust I've seen the vision that you have and you giving me love You've given us your Son just to get us learning the lessons But every day I wonder if I'm deserving your blessing? What's your vision for me Lord, would you show me a sign Would you put me into rooms with the Holiest minds Give me courage to take the steps on the road that's divine Spread my message to the world now I know that it's time Standing proud say it loud now it's you that I'm serving I may have skipped a generation as a youth in the sermons But now I've found a guiding light as I'm using your verses I close my eyes and all I feel is strength from you on my service You picked me up, turned me round, placed my feet on the ground The time is up, this moment's now I see that Jesus is found I'm waiting for faith I'm waiting for faith It's the life I keep living like I'm David V Goliath The Shepard to the flock rocking Playing with the giants Living out the life with all Days that we're defining Making homes in the structures and the Places we reside in I got your strength under me, i'll make it through the fires Breaking down the wires feeling Safe when we confide and start to Stating your desires You're the Greatest and the wisest And I'm Grateful as your child Just keep me faithful through the miles That I'm walking in this game of life Saving up the tithe because I get to pay the price For the heaven gates of light, I've got solid gratitude for the given grace of sight 'Cause it was you who made these eyes And it is you who makes me shine As I walk that winded road I get to practice what I preach Knowing every one is special, every man you make's unique You give us daily scripture for the standards we should keep This is me bowing down, I know I've landed on my knees
