Cycle Of Regret

It means to much to me When I know it should not Overthinking in my conscience With my psyche tied in knots My own being uprooted by heavy thought A decade of unrest Hopelessness Mixed with anxiety disorder I thought I found My purpose but I know no longer A looming feeling that My future will only grow darker A looming feeling that my future will only grow darker I try to hard to resent it I only end up regretting it When I end up slipping back to my old ways Looking back I just miss it So I try to repress it But I always end up missing the old days My sight goes black and Overcome with this feeling that I can't comprehend The cycle takes its toll I just want to be free again My sight goes black And my eyes roll back Im sick of waiting for the end Im sick of waiting for the end Cast yourself away from me Away from my withered state Cast yourself away From my withered state I am in no condition To resuscitate Free yourself from this life I lead As we wipe this planet Of my history As we wipe this planet of my history My eyelids shut As I plan to take a final breath Sick of living through this cycle Cycle of regret Intrusive thoughts at night I can not shake the sight Of the ones I love Looking down on me in spite The ones that I love looking down on me in spite
