All around me, all I see The sky above is falling down I am lost in storming seas The more I fight, the more I drown It's all the same Nothing changes across the turning pages It burns my soul aflame Rapacious shadows claim incandescent embers Concealed in darkness, kept from light Consumed by weakness, to the bone The dawn must shine upon this night The future's not yet set in stone What if I dare to look beyond?
