Summer Goes On

Since I was very young I've always dreamed of traveling around the world I picked my guitar and put my black boots on Let my hair grow and walk out the door And when you're up high in the sky Everything seems so small But I want to carry on I might sit on a bench and watch all the flowers grow While the summer goes on And who knows where this road may lead With every step I make I might become a different men But I'm on my way babe, and ill never be complete Till I find you there And when I find you I'll take one look at you and I'll know you're the one for me And I'll hold on to you Cause there's nothing more important for me in this world Than be with you I crossed an ocean To make my dreams come true And I traveled so far But every step I make is bringing me back to you And it will be a long summer for us And I'm no longer afraid Of what might come along the way Just the two of us sitting by the beach And when the summer is all done I'll make sure to keep you warm And I'll hold on to you As the summer goes on And I'll never let you go And winter is coming back
