Infinite sadness We overcame it Just to return to it The way life ruptures us Infinite sadness Infinite broken heartedness Infinite sadness Infinite sadness Infinite sadness It shocks us, it's too much Lost in the dance The tears, the fears, the voices Ruining the moments Infinite sadness, yet, here to help us Consider it pure joy when you face trials of any kind To have regrets is much more helpful than no regrets We learn, things happen to us We lose those we love We get lost in the storms Passing through the lessons Of things that aren't important That we thought we're too important Yet, what it's like when we pause to find the peace We most need, how we sync into the moment And help the sounds unite into peace And help the voices the ones that Guide us in every moment This dance - this life How we embrace it The challenges in love that finds us How we do extraordinary things with the humility That can never escape us - as we overcome the saddest moments How we become traumatized and violated, taken advantage of And come out the other side Even more beautiful than we could ever be. It's wide, it's wise, it's too many regrets not to go for it, To be alive, love self, family, God. To convert the infinite sadness that finds all of us And translates it into the rain that feeds the soil, Into the sound of growth As it sparks with your water And sunshine, how we cry, How we hope, how we make it, Because it's the infinite sadness that helps us.
