Unbearable hardships and bliss Too many lives and moments lost Because of a lack of awareness With mental health, it's tragic And it can be prevented The subject is all too sensitive But we have to talk about it Together we can save lives Too many need our help Stop comparing yourself to others Stop hurting yourself Be conscious with how You communicate to self Love yourself Love yourself Love yourself Love yourself Love yourself Love yourself Love yourself Love yourself And what about the teenager That killed themself What about the mother that let emotions And sad things people told her - take over What happens when children Lose their parents Because of mental health Help our mental health Does talking about your feelings help? It's like taking out the trash Which prevents Disturbance and disease So does the release Of emotions and thoughts That ravage our peace When all along we can cleanse ourself fresh And find a new way, a new way, a new way A new way to live every day Love yourself (Many say, our parents were like this) Love yourself (That's who I am) Love yourself (It's just my diagnosis) Love yourself (And we all have too many reasons) Love yourself (To be anxious) Love yourself (Or depressed) Love yourself We can say (love yourself) That they're correct Yet you can say the opposite And you, you, you You're too precious to be a puppet And it hits home too hard Because I was the kid that tried to kill himself Too many times I just wanted the suffering to be over It was unbearable, I didn't love myself Or even know how to love And what if I had been successful As a teenager in killing myself Then none of this love would exist It's tragic, none of this music All the moments of love I would have missed If I had not survived the internal wars of self Imagining if none of this would have existed Or the other ones like me that didn't make it I've got goosebumps I'm crying It's worth it to live Through all the pain In a life lived when one moment of bliss And love makes all the pain in life Worth it
