I close my eyesAs fire swept clean the earthNothing left to strangleAs the cords were torn from our heartsAs we emergedFrom darker dungeonsSplendor of yellow hellsExpanded swollen eyesNo words were saidAs fire swept clean the earthWould the mothers be crying?If they saw the torches in their handsA kiss was placed upon my cheekAnd all colors came backMelting in solid blue hues
