Into The Beckoning Darkness

Again I feel drawn by my mystic subconsciousTo be a part of the ominous sanctuary of the woodsListening to the wolves revealing dark secretsAs I walk the shadows into the beckoning darknessAgain ghastly figures dance through the nightOn the rocks which burn in a pale blue lightThe great mountains send their winds on meTo chill my soul that seems to be living eternallyNow the birds sing their elegy mournfullyThe owls scream to complete the harmonyStill the darkness hides something from meThat shall be told with the fall of sanctityHearing the chain sounds as the illusions reappearTheir invitation with chants only I can hearNow echoes the scream piercing the night silenceAnd suddenly silenced by the densing darknessThe darkness spreads inside my headBut daylight has healed and the night has bledAgain on the soil I lie unconsciousAfter the journey into the beckoning darkness
