Sleepyhead

I built a wall around myself Because I thought that I could be someone else But if you isolate yourself, your friends forget you Even all the ones who said that they Would never let you down Never let you down When I've lived my life upon this earth Will I find somebody who appreciates my worth? Because at the moment, I have hit an all time low And all my so-called-friends are people I don't know My engine's running, but I've nowhere left to go So I'll just go I'll just go I'll just go To sleep So at last I get some rest Everything seems to move so fast these days And a drink with a real friend And maybe a glimpse of a new perspective I always try to play it down But now it's time To Face the fact That I've just Been a fool I built a house on solid ground And I asked my friends to come on round They stained the carpet and some couple broke my bed I drank too much and they all called me Sleepyhead But it didn't matter Because the ones who counted said "I'll always be around"
