Every step a sting it cuts like a knife Walking on the shards of my broken life Picking up the pieces of my shattered dreams Echoes of a past it's not as it seems. Shards of sorrow, shards of pain Walking through the storm standing in the rain Trying to escape but I'm tied in this chain With a shard in my foot I'm limping again My minds a battlefield chaos unfurled Stuck in the middle of a cruel cold world Anxiety's a monster depression's a hole Trapped inside this body, losing control.
