Took a long drive down winding lanes going back in time Picturing how it was back in '52 Little thatched houses lined up on the shoreline Wondering how you'd feel if you were here too The holidays we had The places we'll take with us when we are gone The memories we made That we'll still talk about when we're 91 Photographed every street corner we came across Trying to figure out where you spent the night Narrowed it down to one or two old cottages When we get back you'll tell us if we were right The holidays we had The places we'll take with us when we are gone The memories we made That we'll still talk about when we're 91 And it won't be long Til we're not so young
