The sun peeks through the blinds just right Another long day gives way to night Hands are tired mind worn thin But a little hope keeps seepin' in Tractor's rusted but it still runs fine These weary fields ain't worth a dime Yet there's beauty in the worn-out ground Where dreams of harvest still abound Catchin' the light in a jar of fireflies Holdin' on tight to the gleam in our eyes Through the darkest of nights we'll find our way Hope shines brighter than the break of day Coffee's cold and the eggs are burnt Life's taught us more than we've ever learnt In the struggle there's a strength we find Patchin' up hearts one stitch at a time Neon sign on the old roadhouse glows Music and laughter that's how it goes Despite the storms that cloud our skies We'll dance and sing no goodbyes Catchin' the light in a jar of fireflies Holdin' on tight to the gleam in our eyes Through the darkest of nights we'll find our way Hope shines brighter than the break of day
